Program Overview
In our art education courses, you'll collaborate closely with experienced educators and gain hands-on experience with advanced technologies. Your experience will include:
- Collaborating with educators for 10 hours per course.
- Implementing art curricula using technologies like Promethean boards, document cameras and AirMedia.
- Working in well-equipped classrooms that provide a wide range of art materials to foster creativity and innovation.
- Receiving training from the Alliance for Children, allowing you to engage with children from diverse socioeconomic and developmental backgrounds.

CAREER PREP & ALUMNI
Our students take the Texas teacher certification exam, which qualifies them to teach pre-K–12 art in Texas and 45 other states. Throughout the program, you’ll gain hands-on experience and connect with a strong network of TCU art education alumni, including pre-K–12 art teachers you’ll observe during your courses.
