As the first university in the United States to offer a Bachelor of Fine Arts in ballet in 1949, TCU continues to lead with innovative programs, including expanding its offerings with the addition of the Modern Dance BFA program.
At SCCDance, you’ll engage in a nationally recognized program that blends artistic
integrity, technical excellence and academic rigor — equipping you to thrive as a
dancer, leader and collaborator.
Our alumni succeed as dancers, choreographers, teachers, school directors and artistic
leaders across the country and abroad, with many continuing into graduate study.
